WHAT - Annual trek to the General Grant tree, known as the "Nation's Christmas Tree," in Kings Canyon National Park.
WHEN - Sunday, December 10, 2000, at 2:30 p.m.
WHERE - At the General Grant tree.
WHO - Nate Stephenson, a biological researcher with the U.S. Geological Survey, will be in attendance, to comment on his recent research that indicates that the General Grant tree, as well as the General Sherman tree, are not as old as once thought.
